Books and important papers damaged in a fire or a flood were either discarded because they were damaged to the point that they were unusable, or they were returned to use in damaged condition, as there was no viable means of restoration. In their damaged state the documents continued to deteriorate and contaminate the work place, library or home with mould, mildew, soot or other source of odor.

 

Today…

The technology exists to restore important papers, books, files and documents. We can now return these damaged articles to stable condition and the usable life of the item is extended due to utilizing de-acidification techniques.
